Sixty bands, four days, one cruise ship, and only 3,000 tickets, 70000TONS OF METAL will open the ticket line for the 2024 edition on Tuesday, June 27th 2023, at 12 PM EDT. The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, is preparing for yet another sellout.
Since the first voyage in 2011, there have been ten consecutive sellouts. But when you are travelling from Miami, Florida, to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and back, watching live Heavy Metal from the comfort of a hot tub with a cocktail in your hand, then it’s not difficult to understand why.
Every attendee receives unrestricted festival access to 120+ shows and special onboard events, such as meet and greets with every band, unique and intimate masterclasses with select musicians, exclusive live album premieres, listening sessions and more.
Guests will also have the chance to explore Puerto Plata with their favourite bands on a selection of Artist Escorted Shore Excursions, where fans have the opportunity to join band members on expeditions, including snorkelling, kayaking, and boat tours.
With 38 bands yet to be announced, the current lineup is Aborted, Angra, Blind Guardian, Blood Red Throne, Crypta, Draconian, Epica, Equilibrium, Grave Digger, Infected Rain, Lord Of The Lost, Mystic Prophecy, Nanowar Of Steel, Nervosa, Nile, Omnium Gatherum, Saor, Sodom, The Halo Effect, Thyrfing, Unleashed and Warkings.
This four-day Heavy Metal Music Festival and Caribbean vacation offers 3000 metalheads the amazing opportunity to mingle side-by-side with all of the bands on board. With no VIP areas, it truly is like everyone has a backstage pass.
Guests can enjoy the Heavy Metal festival experience of a lifetime with all the benefits that a cruise has to offer: complimentary fine dining, bars that never close, 24-hour room service, as well as the ship’s many amenities.
70000TONS OF METAL is sails January 29th to February 2nd, 2024
