Dieth, featuring Grammy Award-winning bassist David Ellefson, Swedish Grammy nominated guitarist/vocalist Guilherme Miranda (ex-Entombed A.D.) and drummer Michał Łysejko (ex-Decapitated), have released their new single Walk With Me Forever. The track marks Ellefson’s first solo lead vocal performance.
“We’ve all experienced loss and grief at some point in our life, ” David Ellefson says, “and this song expresses that feeling as well as the gratitude we find when accepting, letting go and carrying the beauty of that person’s life with us as we move on.”
The track is taken from their new album To Hell And Back, set for release this Friday via Napalm Records. The release marks the band not as a side project or Supergroup, but as the collective reincarnation of three renowned Heavy Metal forces.
The track Don’t Get Mad … Get Even was released last month. “When things fall apart,” Guilherme Miranda said, “instead of pointing the finger at others, you can turn around, work on yourself, do your best and find your way to get truly even.”
“The best revenge is being better than you were before,” Ellefson said. “Don’t Get Mad … Get Even is about the champion inside us that helps overcome and rise above the challenges. Don’t get bitter… get better.”
“In the confrontation between the stream and the rock,” Michał Łysejko said, “the stream will win – not by strength but by perseverance.”
Dieth signed with Napalm Records late last year and released In the Hall of the Hanging Serpents. “We are stoked to announce that we’ve signed a multi-album international record deal with Napalm Records,” the band said. “Their approach to music and devotion to Metal made Napalm the perfect, most suitable place for us and our music. Last but not least, we would like to thank each one of you that are giving us this massive support.”
