After over a decade of being an independent band, Cryptopsy has signed to Nuclear Blast for their first full-length album since 2012.
"We are truly excited to have joined Nuclear Blast's roster," said Cryptopsy vocalist Matt McGachy. "Many of the bands we love and a bunch of our friends have released killer albums via Nuclear Blast. Back in 2012, we became an independent band. Now in 2023, we have decided to team up with one of the most influential metal labels. We are eager to be showcased alongside the world's best metal acts and can't wait to unveil the next era of Cryptopsy as a Nuclear Blast artist."
Cryptopsy's independent output has been their 2012 self-titled album, as well as their The Book of Suffering – Tome I and Tome II EPs in 2015 and 2018. The new Cryptopsy material was being recorded by Cryptopsy guitarist Christian Donaldson earlier this year. Check out some studio footage below.
