Deen Castronovo will be joined by guitarist Joel Hoekstra and bassist Jeff Pilson in the new Revolution Saints lineup, with an album, Eagle Flight, to be released on 21 April 2023. The new single, Talking Like Strangers, is out now.
The Hoekstra/Pilson combo replaces bassist/vocalist Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and guitarist Doug Aldrich (ex-Whitesnake, DIO), who appeared on the first three Revolution Saints albums, Revolution Saints, Light In The Dark, and Rise.
Put together by Serafino Perugino, President and Head of A&R for Frontiers Records, Revolution Saints was seen as a way to showcase the stunning voice of Castronovo. Castronovo has always been a well-respected drummer, but fans who took note of his background vocals over his career and who attended Journey shows and saw him take lead vocals on Mother, Father during the band’s set came to realize he also had an amazing voice.
Alessandro Del Vecchio guests on keyboards and backing vocals, with Perugino taking an Executive Producer role.
Eagle Flight can be pre-ordered at https://orcd.co/revsaints2023. Due to ongoing long wait times at pressing plants, the LP release date will be 14 July 2023.
