Jeff Beck / Tributes pour in after rock legend dies aged 78

Tributes have been pouring in following the news that legendary guitarist Jeff Beck has died aged 78. The guitarist’s guitarist passed away on Tuesday after suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, his family said in a statement.

“Now Jeff has gone, I feel like one of my band of brothers has left this world, and I’m going to dearly miss him,” Ronnie Wood, who played in The Jeff Beck Group, said. “I’m sending much sympathy to Sandra, his family, and all who loved him. I want to thank him for all our early days together in Jeff Beck Group, conquering America.”
