Ghost is plotting a worldwide tour for this year and it's going to include some kind of change to the band. In an interview with Metal Hammer, Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge revealed that the band will hit the road across the globe in 2023… but before that, there will be "a little bit of change." In true Ghost fashion, Forge doesn't say what the change will be aside from that "some things are public, other things not in public view."
"We're going to go into every territory next year, but there's going to be one European tour, one American tour," said Forge. "We are going to do a little bit of everywhere. There'll be a little bit of something up in upper Asia, on the far end there – a very well-established country with a lot of pop cultural fascination, and the home of videogames.
"And there's going to be something in the Oceania world, and there might be something south of Panama, and there might be something slightly north of Panama. It feels pretty solid.”
"We're going to come out with a little bit of change before that – good change. We're not going to go silent. Some things are public, other things not in public view, but there are a lot of things brewing."
It's probably worth mentioning that back in October, Ghost posted an overarching plot videos where Mr. Salterian turns to Papa Emeritus IV midway through their drive and says "The shows are scheduled, I KNOW when your time is up." So maybe the change is death? We'll see.
