Pantera performed at Knotfest Chile on December 11 with both Derek Engemann (Philip H. Anselmo & the IllegalsScour) and Bobby Landgraf (ex-Down) in place of Rex Brown. Pantera has now commented on the situation to thank the two fill-in bassists, while Brown revealed he's doing fine after being diagnosed with COVID and will join the band once again in 2023.

"Thanks to all of our fans & everyone at Knotfest Chile for an amazing show. Thanks to Derek Engenmann & Bobby Landgraf for handling bass duties last night.

"A note from Rex: 'I caught a very mild strain of Covid, but because of our own protocols, I simply do not wanna risk getting my brothers or the crew sick!! I'm feeling better & am on my way to a speedy recovery. Merry Fckn Christmas & see you all next Year!'"

Pantera played a show in Santiago tonight, December 12 with two shows coming up in São Paulo, Brazil on December 15 with Judas Priest and on December 18 at Knotfest Brasil.
