Bret Michaels is now in the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame as a solo artist, reports NBC affiliate WGAL 8. Video footage of his induction ceremony can be viewed below.
The Poison singer received the plaque at an event in Hershey, PA on Wednesday, November 30th. He was previously inducted as a member of Poison in 2020.
In his acceptance speech, Michaels commented, "I accept this honor on behalf of all of us here. Listen, we are amazing, Central PA rocks, Hershey Stadium in the summer was incredible. It was amazing. That was a good day in my life. It was amazing and I just want to tell you I am honored to be here today."
Guesting on the November 28th installment of SiriusXM's Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Poison frontman Bret Michaels revealed he will be hitting the road solo during the summer of 2023 with Night Ranger and Jefferson Starship supporting. The 12 date Parti-Gras tour will kick off on July 13th in Detroit, MI.
Michaels: "We have special mystery guests. Every single night there'll be someone on that stage. I can't tell you exactly who it is, but if you've ever looked at everyone who's been on stage - I've had everyone from Jimmy Page to Jimmy Buffett to Paul Stanley - we're gonna bring someone out at the end of the night and we're gonna do their song. Iit's a throwback to a great time and a giveback to the fans."
