Machine Gun Kelly made some pretty… pretty… pretty weird comments at the AMA's this week, blasting critics who call him a "rock tourist," and then….. he questioned the moon landing.

"There have been some people in the rock community who called me a tourist, but they’re wrong – I'm a rocket man," he claimed after thanking his fans. "We weren’t born on the moon but we looked at it and we were curious and then we went there… supposedly, and these two rock albums were me going to the moon."

Wait a minute—supposedly? Who is Machine Gun Kelly , really—the Kyrie Irving of pop? Dudes, we went to the moon. Period. As much as I'm a fan of director Stanley Kubrick, he did not help fake the moon landing, as funny as that idea is. As for Machine Gun Kelly , though, he's got a message for the galaxy: "I’m not done exploring the universe yet, and I am all genres.”

Ok, then! Aside from interstellar travel, Kellyis no stranger to bizarre behavior. Earlier this year, he claimed that he was finished with rock music.

"I'm going to make a rap album for myself," the singer said. "For no other reason, no point to prove, no chip on my shoulder… If I keep doing things to prove things to people, I'm going to, one, drive myself crazy and, two, not make a good product."

Kelly continued by saying, ""I made Tickets and Mainstream Sellout because I wanted to make them. I need to now also make people miss that sound because Tickets and Mainstream Sellout are companion albums, I don't think making a third that's so [similar to those] is going to be exciting unless it's missed."

Then, a very public dispute with Corey Taylor of Slipknot prompted the "My Ex's Best Friend" singer to proclaim from the stage at Riot Fest, “Hey, you wanna know what I’m really happy that I’m not doing? Being 50 years old wearing a fucking weird mask on a fucking stage.” Can't say I disagree there—it's gotta be hot under those masks, no?
