Looks like 2023 will see the return of Queens Of The Stone Age. Eagles Of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes recently let slip in an Instagram video that Queens Of The Stone Age just wrapped up a new record, and now Queens guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen has revealed the band definitely has some stuff up their sleeve for 2023.

In an interview with Talkin' Rock With Meltdown, Van Leeuwen remained cryptic about the band's plans, only saying "there's stuff happening. I can't really go into what's happening. We'll see you sometime out there. There are some shows that are confirmed for next year."

Later in the same interview, Van Leeuwen is asked about new Queens Of The Stone Age material. Van Leeuwen said "There's always stuff being kind of tossed around at all times with Queens. There are songs on the last record that [are] five or six years old, so there are songs that are still kicking around with that aesthetic that have been around for 10 years. Sometimes they take their own time to finish. You can't force them … All I can say is that there are some shows that are booked."

All we know about Queens Of The Stone Age live shows right now is that the band is booked for Rock Werchter to be held this July at the Werchter Festivalpark in Belgium. In the meantime, you can check out a handful of vinyl reissues from the band here featuring Villains and …Like Clockwork, as well as their debut self-titled album with the original track sequencing and out-of-print artwork by Frank Kozik.
