METALLICA - New Exhibit In The Black Box; New "Until It Sleeps" Poster Available Thursday

It’s been nearly a year since The Metallica Black Box opened its doors with the first exhibition taking a deep dive into The Black Album, followed by a walk down memory lane with 40 Years of Metallica. It's time for exhibit number three as the archivists behind the Black Box are proud to pull the curtain back on The Art of Metallica, launching today.

This latest exhibition digs into the band’s personal collection of artwork and includes rarely-seen drafts of album art, classic t-shirt images, gig posters, fan tributes, video storyboards, Hetfield sketches, and much more. Spanning all forty years and featuring iconic artists including Pushead, Tony Squindo, Dirty Donny, and so many more, The Art of Metallica features dozens of images that have been such an important part of our music and tours.

As always, the exhibits within The Metallica Black Box are free to view for all. Spend some time looking through all of the displayed artifacts, and feel free to exit through the “gift shop” to peruse some rare and unique memorabilia in the Black Box Shop.

Enter the Black Box here.

Metallica's new "Until It Sleeps" poster will be available this Thursday, November 3, at 1 PM, PDT.

A message states: "Get your hands on the second of two posters created by Creepy Duck Design. His interpretation of “Until It Sleeps” measures 18” x 24” and will be available in both The Metallica Store and the Probity UK Shop.

A limited number of foil prints will also be available exclusively in The Metallica Store, with proceeds benefiting All Within My Hands.

This poster is limited, so mark your calendars and be ready to shop on Thursday, November 3, at 1 PM PDT / 9 PM BST."
