On October 2nd, Jane's Addiction embarked upon the Spirits On Fire Tour of North America, as very special guests to headliners Smashing Pumpkins.
From the onset, Jane's Addiction were without guitarist Dave Navarro, due to his prolonged battle with Covid; Queens Of The Stone Age / A Perfect Circle guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen has been filling in. However, the trek marked the first time original bassist Eric Avery played with the band since 2010.
Now, vocalist Perry Farrell has been temporarily sidelined due to an undisclosed injury, which he incurred after Jane's Addiction played Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 19th. This resulted in Jane's Addiction being unbale to perform in the following cities: Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City. Our Lady Peace will take the stage prior to Smashing Pumpkins at the three Canadian shows, with Jane's Addiction looking to rejoin the tour on Saturday, October 29th in Cleveland at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
