ARAPACIS Feat. Former RAINBOW Keyboardist DAVID STONE To Release Suburban Mist Album In December

The upcoming album by AraPacis Suburban Mist, their 9th, is a thematic 7-song assortment of classic hard rock, doom, blues rock and prog album  (with a surprise country/prog/metal tune thrown in the mix) and again features the keyboards of former Rainbow and Max Webster member David Stone, the versatile guitar playing of leader Jerry Fielden and the raspy voice of frontwoman Michelle Macpherson - and a guest appearance by none other than former Dream Theater and current Sons of Apollo keyboardist Derek Sherinian.

It will be released on Blackhouse Records in physical format (December 2022) and Bullseye records of Canada, Inc. in digital format (November 2022.)

AraPacis (Ara-Patches) is a female-fronted metal band hailing from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden, fronted by Scots singer Michelle Macpherson, and supported by the keyboard wizardry of ex-Rainbow member David Stone, their main goal is to re-create some of the original aspects of 1970's hard rock and progressive rock and fuse it together with 21st Century prog metal, doom metal, and metalcore to make an interesting metal hybrid.

AraPacis have shared the stage with acts such as Blaze Bayley, Uli Jon Roth, Anvil, Raven, the Agonist, Doro, etc. They have now released nine albums and three EPs. They have had noted guests on their albums such as Guy LeBlanc (RIP) of Camel, Steph Honde of Di'Anno and Hollywood Monsters, Don Airey of Deep Purple, Rainbow, Jethro Tull, etc., Vinny Appice of Black Sabbath and Dio, Kayla Dixon of Witch Mountain/Dress the Dead, and John Gallagher of Raven, amongst others. Their last album, Waterdog was released in 2021.
