SAVAGE EXISTENCE Guitarist / Entrepreneur DANIEL CLELAND Releases New Book "12 Laws Of The Jungle: How To Become A Lethal Entrepreneur"

Entrepreneur, founder and guitarist of Savage Existence, and author Daniel Cleland is set to release his latest book on October 25, “12 Laws Of The Jungle: How To Become A Lethal Entrepreneur,” just before the release of the band’s newest single, “Cull”, on November 2.

“12 Laws Of The Jungle” has been called “your must-have machete for the jungle of entrepreneurship.” It guides readers through the 12 principles Cleland followed to shoot his ayahuasca retreat center, Soltara Healing Center, to the top 3 in the world and survive an unforgiving market after COVID-19 threatened to obliterate their revenues. These 12 principles also allowed Cleland to create the now internationally-acclaimed metal band Savage Existence whose lyrical themes resemble the book's: primal instincts, ruthless decision making, and a “be the predator, not the prey” mentality.

Savage Existence’s first album, Animals, was produced by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly, Once Human) and they have toured in their first year with legendary acts like Sepultura, Exodus, Suffocation and more. Their self-titled second album will be released in 2023, boasting several guest features from guitar legend Gary Holt of Exodus and Slayer.

Book Summary:

One month after Daniel Cleland scales his startup to seven figures, solidifying its rank in the top three ayahuasca healing centers in the world, COVID-19 obliterates the company’s revenues. He now has sixty days to find hundreds of thousands of dollars in survival funds or face extinction.

Racing against time, Cleland hacks his way through the proverbial (and sometimes literal) jungle one perilous step at a time. Walking the tightrope of zero revenues. Connecting to other high-profile entrepreneurs like Patrick Bet-David and Aubrey Marcus. Applying unorthodox tactics to prevent employee AWOLs. Staving off agonizing betrayals.

In his former debut, Pulse of the Jungle, Cleland described how the Peruvian jungle awakened him, expanding his mind with new insights into entrepreneurship. This time, unprecedented global lockdowns test him to the limit, revealing the twelve primal laws of entrepreneurial survival that kept him alive and thriving in an unforgiving market.

This book is for entrepreneurs and musicians alike who are ready to apply the laws of the jungle to their businesses, their bands, and their lives.

Author Biography:

Daniel Cleland is CEO of Soltara Healing Center, which gained worldwide recognition in 2019 as THE preeminent Shipibo healing center outside Peru and is now regularly visited by the most prominent influencers, celebrities, and public figures. One of the patrons includes Logan Mader who he met backstage at a concert in 2020 when Mader expressed interest in an ayahuasca retreat at Soltara. Shortly after meeting, Cleland founded the now internationally acclaimed band Savage Existence and Mader produced their debut album, “Animals.” Since then, the Savage Existence has toured with iconic acts like Sepultura, Monstrosity, and more and is working on their second album coming out in 2023. Cleland holds a Masters of Intercultural and International Communication, but he learned his hard-knock style of scaling from years of traveling, living, and hustling in the merciless Amazon jungles of South America. He is often referred to as “The Indiana Jones of Entrepreneurship,” after applying the principles in this book to his company, his band, and everything he puts his mind to.
