stranger things

Soon you'll be able to stay in the house where Winona Ryder once stood in Stranger Things as conqueror extraordinaire Joyce Byers, a desperate soul communicating through tethered walls of electronics. A chain smoking, unshowered sight for sympathetic eyes, cascading through other dimensions with her buddy Jim Hopper, on the hunt for the spectral S.O.B. that stole her son. Yup, you too can now live out all your paranormal fantasies in the house the Duffer Brothers built.
As reported by Metal Hammer, the house—which is actually located in Fayetteville, GA—was listed on Zillow at $330,000 and sold a week later. Wait a minute—$300,000? For that house? In Georgia? I'll tell you this for free, folks: that ain't inflation, that's celebrity at work—even for an old house like the Byers fictional home.
Nonetheless, an excerpt of the house listing described the home like this: "This home was featured throughout the first few seasons of the show and remains a nostalgic focal point of the series. Resting on 6 acres, and located in sought after Fayetteville, GA this home makes for a PERFECT Airbnb, short term rental, or personal residence for someone willing to take it on. I mean, How cool would it be to own the infamous Stranger Things house?"
According to TMZ, the house that gave decorating for Christmas a whole new meaning was bought in cash by an investor whose desire is to turn it into an Airbnb. But not just any Airbnb: the new owner intends to reinvent the entire home in the exact likeness of the Stranger Things set, with a complete remodel of the interior planned to look exactly like the Byers quaint quarters. Rest assured (no pun intended) that fans from all over the world will be flocking to this new hot tourist destination as soon as possible.
It actually makes sense the infamous Stranger Things chateau has now become a "thing" as far as spooky houses are concerned. It follows in a tradition of some very high-profile supernatural structures; There's the The Amityville Horror house, the Georgetown apartment that stages The Exorcist and its tragic back staircase, and of course, the boyhood home of Michael Myers in Halloween. Now, we have The Byers home of Stranger Things. Question is: will it be available for rent in time for this Halloween?
