Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently took his official Twitter account and responded to a fan’s question about whether the following year’s Stadium Tour will feature the same names.

In the summer and fall of 2022, Mötley Crüe finally hit the road along with Def Leppard, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Poison after two postponements due to the pandemic. The tour was concluded in Las Vegas about two weeks ago, and it became both bands’ top-grossing tour by selling 1.3 million tickets and earning over $173.5 million.

Following the end of the long-awaited Stadium Tour, Mötley Crüe fans started wondering about the band’s future plans. Although the band doesn’t intend to enter the studio to record new materials, they have clearly expressed their wish to continue touring in several interviews. They talked about how much fun it was performing again in big stadiums after seven years of break.

Last month, when a Twitter user asked Nikki Sixx whether the Stadium tour would be their farewell, the bassist revealed that they didn’t want to stop. In a new Q&A with his fans, a user wanted to learn whether the same band would join Mötley Crüe in their next Stadium Tour or if there would be any changes in the lineup. Sixx replied by saying that Crüe and Def Leppard would continue touring as co-headliners, but Poison and Joan Jett wouldn’t be joining them next time.

A fan’s question to Nikki Sixx:

“Are the bands that will appear on next year’s stadium tour the same band as this time? or change some?

The bassist replied:

Just us and Def Leppard stay the same.”
