In his recent tweets, Steve Stevens reacted to Phil Soussan’s apology for his comments about Nikki Sixx and Mötley Crüe after attending The Stadium Tour as a spectator.

After going to Mötley Crüe’s September 9 concert with Def Leppard, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Soussan shared some photos on his social media and wrote a comment under the post. While praising the other musicians’ shows, he stated that he was not satisfied with the performance of Mötley Crüe.

After seeing Soussan’s post, Nikki Sixx responded by saying ‘Thanks, Phil,’ adding a middle finger emoji at the end of his sentence. Soussan revealed in a previous interview that the sound was not good where he was on the show; however, he later regretted making a comment like this and texting Sixx to express his sadness. He stated that he texted the Mötley Crüe bassist that the concert was not bad, but he expected it to be better. Soussan wished the band and Sixx the best and apologized for offending them.

Recently, Steve Stevens shared his view about this issue, citing the news that Soussan apologized and stated that the rocker used to have this type of behavior, and it still has not changed according to him. He also expressed his respect towards Nikki Sixx, responding to Stewart Cowell’s tweet.

Steve Stevens said the following:

“He was a nasty piece of work back in the day. Nothing’s changed, it would seem.”

Stevens added:

“Phil. Total respect for Nikki.
