Last in Line bassist Phil Soussan recently joined Artists on Record hosted by Stefan Adika for an interview and apologized to Mötley Crüe for his negative words about the Stadium Tour.

As you may know, Mötley Crüe wrapped up their Stadium Tour with a final show at the Allegiant Stadium of Los Angeles on September 9, 2022. In addition to fans who had been waiting for the tour for a long time, the band also had prominent musicians coming to see them live, including bassist Phil Soussan. However, he wasn’t satisfied with Mötley Crüe’s performance.

The musician wrote on his social media accounts that Crüe didn’t have much to offer to the audience and said they didn’t meet his expectations. The band’s bassist, Nikki Sixx, was slightly offended by this negative comment. Sixx simply thanked Soussan with a middle-finger emoji. When asked about what happened afterward, Phil Soussan recently said that he made a comment without thinking.

In his recent conversation, he admitted that it was actually a great show, but the sound was not good in the area he was during the gig. He then noted that he contacted Nikki Sixx privately to say he was sorry and he didn’t mean to imply anything bad. Soussan didn’t think that it was a bad show, he just believes that it could’ve been better.

However, the bassist expressed how angry he is at himself for saying such a reckless thing. He accepted his mistake in his recent conversation and publicly apologized to Nikki Sixx and the remaining Mötley Crüe members for his adverse comments about the show.

Here is what Phil Soussan said about his regret:

“It was a great show. It was good. Where I was the sound wasn’t that great. I was actually right in front but the sound was either bad where I was sitting or bad sound. I said something about that inadvertently without thinking, just really stupid. I think I might have offended Nikki so I wrote to him and said, ‘Man, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to say anything.’ It wasn’t bad, just hoping it was going to be better.

I’ve always tried to go through this world just trying to say something positive, bring something positive. You’ve got to say something nice about things and then sometimes you don’t think and you say something without thinking. Mea culpa, I own that stuff, totally my bad. It’s just one of those silly things. You say a thousand nice things and nobody remembers them. Say one bad thing and everyone makes a comment.”
