Former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora posted on his official Twitter account to thank his fans for the continued support they have shown him since the ‘Stranger in This Town’ days.
Richie Sambora was the lead guitarist of Bon Jovi for 30 years and the co-writer of most of the band’s iconic hits over the years until he departed from the band in 2013. Richie left the band to focus more on his family, especially his daughter, who needed him the most.
After his departure, Sambora only joined the band once for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction in 2018. Despite being a part of the band until 2013, Sambora has released several studio albums under his own name throughout the years, including the 1991 classic ‘Stranger in This Town.’ This album has allowed him to establish a big fanbase.
The musician recently tweeted to thank his fans for the love they have shown to his ‘Stranger in This Town’ album over the years. Sambora added that he is glad that his fans could connect with him through his music. He also acknowledged that if his fans didn’t receive his work well and enjoyed it, he wouldn’t be continuing his career to this day.
Richie Sambora’s tweet to his fans read:
“Hey everybody! I just want to thank you all for the ‘Stranger in This Town’ love. It makes me feel good. Glad we connected through my reflections and music…The first time many of us met. Sincerely thank you for receiving; without you, there ain’t no me. Love you all back.”
