Poison frontman Bret Michaels recently joined Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk for an interview and revealed Poison‘s future plans.

Fans have been waiting for Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard’s The Stadium Tour for a long time because it was rescheduled twice due to the global pandemic. Although it was supposed to take place in the summer of 2020, they postponed it to 2021 and then 2022 due to worldwide health restrictions.

Despite the fans’ worries about whether the tour would be postponed again, The Stadium Tour began on June 16, 2022. Throughout the tour, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts serve as special guests, and it’s set to conclude on September 9.

Recently, Poison’s Bret Michaels revealed his future plans to Eddie Trunk during an interview. Michaels stated that he was also worried about whether The Stadium Tour would finally take place. He then revealed that he plans to embark on the ‘Party Gras’ tour in 2023.

After expressing his excitement, Bret Michaels disclosed that he would hit the road for the Party Gras tour with his own band. Moreover, the musician said Poison probably won’t tour again until 2025 after The Stadium Tour.

As reported by Blabbermouth, Bret Michaels told Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk the following:

“With everything going on in the world, we didn’t know if The Stadium Tour would go ahead in 2022. I prayed every day, like, ‘I hope this goes. I’ve been waiting since ’20.’ First words out of my mouth, besides thanking the fans, the bands, and the crew, I go, ‘I’ve been waiting for two, almost three years for this,’ since we announced ‘The Stadium Tour.’

But for me, we were going to do the ‘Party Gras’ tour this year. I put together something incredible, and we’re going to launch that in ’23. And when I tell you what this is and how we’ve designed it with everybody, it’s an incredible amphitheater tour that’s just going to be — I think it’s going to be insane and going to be the ‘all thriller, no filler’ summer party. And you’ll know what I mean when it hits the stage. It’s really an exciting idea.”

Asked whether the ‘Party Gras’ tour would include Poison, Bret continued:

“This would be my own band in ’23. I’m just saying ’25 is probably when Poison will put a humongous world tour together and go back out and be incredible. And it’ll be awesome. My Party Gras, this entire amphitheater thing we’re doing and festival, as soon as we knew we were doing The Stadium Tour, we moved that to ’23, and we got to do The Stadium Tour, which is incredible.”

According to Bret Michaels, Party Gras will be an amphitheater summer party featuring his own band. Moreover, it seems like Poison fans may have to wait for at least three years until they see Poison live again.
