Ozzy Osbourne announced in a recent Instagram post that his new song from his forthcoming album, titled ‘Degradation Rules’ featuring Tony Iommi, is now out.
After his Black Sabbath days, Ozzy Osbourne built a highly successful solo career. The musician turned things around despite being kicked out of the band due to substance abuse. He had been in rehab several times to recover from his addiction, which didn’t help much then.
Besides addiction problems, Osbourne has also struggled with his health for many years. In addition to his battle with Parkinson’s disease, he had to have neck surgery to be able to walk again. Amid Osbourne’s recent health issues and the pandemic, Prince of Darkness has been working on his new album.
He released the first single and title track from the upcoming album, ‘Patient Number 9,’ the following day after the announcement on June 22. The official music video for ‘Patient Number 9’ also arrived a week after the official audio. Jeff Beck made a surprise guest appearance by playing guitar on the first single.
The announcement of the following single named ‘Degradation Rules‘ came from Osbourne himself on Instagram. Following his statement on the Instagram post, the singer released the new song featuring Tony Iommi on YouTube for his fans to enjoy.
