Harrisburg’s official Twitter account recently shared a post and photo to reveal that Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee came to the police department to express his gratefulness.

The longly awaited Stadium Tour, which Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe organized together, kicked off June 16, 2022, in Cumberland with Poison, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Classless Act. Both the bands and their dedicated fans, who were able to survive a global pandemic and waited for almost two years, were happy to meet again.

Moreover, the concerts became extremely painful for Lee after he broke his ribs a short time ago. The Mötley Crüe drummer insisted on continuing to play some parts without listening to doctors’ orders by getting some help from Ozzy Osbourne drummer Tommy Clufetos.

A tweet unveiled that the famous drummer thanked Harrisburg Police for their protection during the concert. Also, they supported him while he was staying at the hotel following their show on July 12, 2022, in Hershey. The police officers got delighted and excited by Tommy Lee’s visit, and Lee replied to the post by saying thank you again.

The city of Harrisburg’s tweet read as follows:

“Shout-out to legendary rocker Tommy Lee who wanted to thank Harrisburg’s finest for some protection this week. Mötley Crüe performed at HersheyPark Stadium, and Mr. Lee stayed at the Downtown Harrisburg Hilton.”

Lee replied:

Thanks, boys!
