Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider recently shared a post on his official Twitter page, responding to a fan about his upcoming plans for his music career. The singer said he would no longer record songs and focus on other ventures.

The group released several notable studio albums shortly after Snider became Twisted Sister’s lead singer and songwriter. Snider adopted a metal-inspired character during live performances and music videos. His image with Twisted Sister’s music gained them recognition in the industry.

Following his tenure with Twisted Sister, Dee Snider began his solo music career. The musician collaborated with numerous notable names from the rock world and released his material, leaving his Twisted Sister persona behind. However, Snider once responded to a fan and revealed that he has no plans to do any more live shows in the future.

The rocker emphasized that he would focus on writing, directing, and producing instead of performing. Hence, he also just announced his first graphic novel, ‘Dee Snider: He’s Not Going To Take It,’ which will uncover the PMRC case and everything that happened that day from his perspective.

When recently asked about his stance on going back to recording songs, the rocker said he would never rule it out, but at this stage of his life, he doesn’t see himself recording any new music. Instead, he focused on directing and producing other ventures, such as a new graphic novel.

Dee Snider’s response to a fan about recording music:

“Never say never, but I don’t see me recording anymore. Movies, books, TV, radio, etc.”
