E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt recently took to his Twitter to ask their fans for their patience with the band’s upcoming shows.

When the governments eased the pandemic restrictions, most music acts returned to the stage to get together with their fans. However, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band chose to wait a bit more before embarking on a tour. Since their last show was in 2020, fans began waiting impatiently.

Bruce Springsteen announced E Street Band’s return to the stage in May. He stated that their new world tour will begin on April 28, 2023, in Barcelona, Spain, and conclude on July 25, 2023, in Monza, Italy. As this is a long-awaited tour, fans began questioning whether the band would visit their city.

These requests reached massive amounts, so Steven Van Zandt asked E Street Band fans not to fill his Twitter feed with their questions, saying the current political issues in the US are more important than them. Recently, Van Zandt again came across a fan who asked whether any UK dates would be announced.

In his tweet, Van Zandt said fans need to be patient for a while because there are many possible reasons for delays in the upcoming dates, such as discussions about potential events. He then relieved the UK fans by stating they won’t skip the UK during the tour.

One of his fans asked Steven Van Zandt the following:

“Do you know if any UK dates are going to be announced? We miss you!”

Van Zandt responded:

Just be patient a little bit longer. There are all kinds of reasons for delays like this, including discussions and confirmations regarding various potential sports events, etc. You guys don’t seriously think we’re going to skip the UK, do you?”
