AXXMAXXIUS DEVASTRUKTOR: Insane Band Name, Excellent Black Metal

Australian black metal act Axxmaxxius Devastruktor has one hell of a band name and backs it up with some seriously solid black metal. The band will release their new record Blood Seeps Into the Black Earth on July 20 and has thus far released two singles – the album's title track and "Drowned Spirit." Both singles certainly lean into the cacophonous mayhem of black metal fare, though death metal influences and even some symphonic elements leak into the music here and there.
