Kiss Kruise XI will kick off October 24, with the first week of the voyage taking place through October 29, while the second outing, if you like, will take place October 29 through November 3, sailing from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico aboard the Norwegian Jewel cruise ship.
The first week of performances include a powerhouse set from Dokken, who have reunited with legendary guitarist George Lynch, Warrant, L.A. Guns, Bruce Kulick, the "All Hands on Deck" super-jam featuring Lita Ford & Friends, George Lynch and the Electric Freedom, Heart by Heart, The Big Deal, and Baron. Second week sets include your hosts for the trip, Kiss, Black Label Society, Buckcherry, Bruce Kulick, a second "All Hands on Deck" super-jam, this time featuring Sebastian Bach & Friends, Stryper, Vixen, Plush, The Wild Things, and Mickey James.
Events of this type, not necessarily cruises, per se, but band organized events are seemingly popping up every other month now. Now in it’s eleventh year, Kiss should be recognized as a band that have it down to a complete science at this point, and understand exactly what fans would find fun and entertaining—and most importantly, worth the credit card hit, which is what it comes down to with all of these events.
To their credit, Kiss deliver: All attendees will receive signature-engraved commemorative gifts, while getting to take take part in two on-board activities with the entire band, as well as two on-board activities with each individual member. Kiss Kruise XI will also feature the Kiss Expo, a showcase for Kiss collectibles as well as autograph sessions with the supporting acts. There will be theme night costume parties, and guests who book the complete two-week sailing package will receive an exclusive laminate, a poster signed by Kiss, happy hour and group photos with Kiss, and an exclusive Kiss Kruise XI two-timer t-shirt.
