In a recent interview with Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2, Roger Taylor confirmed that an unreleased song named ‘Face It Alone’ by Freddie Mercury would come out this September.

Freddie Mercury made a considerable impact on the rock scene, especially as the vocalist of Queen. He was one of the building stones of Queen since the beginning of the group’s appearance on the rock scene.

Mercury passed away while living at the peak of his career, and the band members and fans have always felt his absence. The vocalist has still been counted among the most influential musicians worldwide.

The remaining Queen members have been touring for the ‘Rhapsody Tour‘ since 2019. They have been collaborating with Adam Lambert throughout the performances. The tour crew did not forget to commemorate Freddie Mercury during the concerts as they did in a previous concert in Belfast.

Roger Taylor and Brian May made the fans happy with delightful news in a recent conversation. The pair announced that an unreleased song named ‘Face It Alone,’ featuring Freddie Mercury’s vocals, would come out this September.

Brian May revealed that they rediscovered this song they forgot a while and decided to release it as they found it excellent. Roger Taylor also confirmed the news by adding it was a very ‘passionate’ track.

May explained in his words about the unreleased song:

“We did find a little gem from Freddie that we’d forgotten about, and it’s wonderful. It was a real discovery. It’s from ‘The Miracle’ sessions, and I think it’s going to be out in September.

We looked at it many times and thought, oh no, we can’t rescue that. But in fact, we went in there again, and our wonderful engineering team went, ‘Okay, we can do this and this.’ It’s like stitching bits together. But it’s beautiful; it’s a touching piece.”

Roger Taylor added:

“It’s a very passionate piece.”

For the dedicated Queen fans, this news from the band is very heartening. The audience is excited to hear Freddie Mercury’s voice on this unreleased song. They are all waiting for this September with Queen members impatiently.
