Mötley Crüe’s Nikk Sixx shared a post to express his feelings about the band’s upcoming tour with Def Leppard on his official Twitter account. Sixx also revealed his thoughts on working with them.
The Stadium Tour, which was Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard’s co-headlining tour also featuring Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Poison, was planned to start in 2020. However, the COVID-19 outbreak had another plan for these artists and the rest of humanity worldwide.
The bands had to reschedule the concert dates twice due to the precautions and restrictions against the deadly virus. The tour, which the fans have been looking forward to participating in for years, will finally begin in Atlanta on June 16, 2022, and end in Paradise on September 9, 2022.
After finishing their rehearsals, Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard icons recently met to work on the last checks for sounds, equipment, and other stage props. Then, Sixx stated that it was great to collaborate with them by highlighting his respect. The bassist added that he wanted to spend time with other bands, and the shows would be full of fun.
Sixx’s tweet read:
“14 days till opening night. Been spending time with the Def Leppard guys and crew this week. So great how we’re all working together. I have nothing but respect for them as a band and all-around great people. This tour is going to be fun. Look forward to all the bands on tour.”
