Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor recently announced on his official Twitter that he established the non-profit ‘Taylor Foundation’ to raise money for the organizations that help people with PTSD.

Besides being best known for his contributions to Slipknot and Stone Sour, Corey Taylor is also a solo songwriter, actor, and philanthropist. At the beginning of Covid-19, Taylor became one of the musicians who took the stage, donated and held auctions for the pandemic relief actions.

On August 27, 2020, Taylor auctioned his several signed guitars and a piano for the American Civil Liberties Union, which advocates for individuals’ rights in the United States.

Recently, Taylor shared a video of him talking about the Taylor Foundation, a newly formed organization by the rocker. He stated that the foundation was established as a non-profit charity to provide money for organizations helping people dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder.

The rocker mentioned that the fans who made donations would have a chance to accommodate in a hotel and spend time with him. He would also provide VIP passes for his London Palladium show to those who donated. Taylor added that those who donated 50 dollars to charity would have a poster signed by him for their names.

Corey Taylor explained in the video:

“Hey everyone, Corey Taylor here. Very excited to announce the launch of the ‘Taylor Foundation’ as a non-profit charity that is looking to raise money for organizations to help treat or uplift members of the military and members of the emergency services who are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, otherwise known as PTSD.

We’ll be partnering with pre-selected non-profits at each tour stop who are actively providing meaningful and creative assistance to those affected by PTSD. We’re giving you the chance to support us, and in return, one lucky fan will get to hang out with me in London this October. We’ll put you up in a hotel and give you two VIP passes to my sold-out show at the world-famous London Palladium. Anyone who donates $50 or more automatically gets a signed poster by yours truly.”
