KISS’ Gene Simmons recently tweeted about his former bandmate Ace Frehley to celebrate his birthday. The bassist stated that he should come to KISS’ End of the Road World Tour and join them on stage to make their fans happy.

Ace Frehley left KISS in 1982 after performing with them for nine years. The band’s two members, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons stayed stable, and Peter Criss and Ace Frehley were in and out over time. Ace reunited with KISS in 1996 for a reunion tour and left in 2001 after completing their ‘Farewell Tour.’ After that, the band continued producing new music.

Currently, KISS is on their ‘End of the Road World Tour,’ which finally seems to be their last tour together. However, Ace and Peter are off the band this time and instead are replaced by Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer. The tour began in 2019, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed. Currently, the tour is planned to last until October 2022.

Gene Simmons recently celebrated his departed bandmate and friend Ace Frehley’s birthday on Twitter. In the tweet, he invited Ace to the tour, and apparently, this is not the first invitation for the lead guitarist. He stated that the invitation ‘still stands’ and the fans would love it if he just jumped on stage for ‘encores.’

Here is how Gene invited Ace to the tour:

“Happy Birthday Ace. And many more. The invitations still stand. Jump up on stage with us for encores. The fans would love it.”

The fans seem excited about the told reunion, but they also stated how much they’d like a reunion tour with Peter Criss. Original KISS fans would always want Ace and Peter, but no one has anything against Eric and Tommy or their way of syncing with the band.
