Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell recently spoke about the upcoming long-awaited Stadium Tour in the summer. The guitarist stated that Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe would play for 90 minutes while the other performers like Poison and Joan Jett would each have lesser stage time.

After Mötley Crüe burned their no-tour contract, they programmed an extensive tour to meet with their old and new fans onstage. The planned program was canceled and postponed many times, which made fans lose hope of ever seeing the band onstage again. However, the tour was rescheduled for summer and included Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett.

While the ticketholders are excitedly waiting for the rock and roll feast, the bands are ready to start rehearsing. According to Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, the rehearsals will commence in May and probably take two to three weeks because none of the bands rehearsed anytime soon.

The musician also stated that the setlists would shape on their own, possibly at the rehearsals, and revealed that the Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe would play for 90 minutes each. He also stated that Poison would have an hour, whereas Joan Jett would be on stage for about 40 to 45 minutes.

Here is how he explained the situation of the tour:

“We start rehearsing normally; we don’t rehearse much in recent years because we tour so much; we just need a couple of days to get back in the stride. However, because it’ll be two and a half years at least since we played together. We’ve put aside two or three weeks to rehearse. I tend to think, though, we’re going to go in there, and after two, three days, it’s going to be like, ‘Okay, let’s go to the pub.’ But yeah, we start rehearsals in the second week in May, and the setlist sort of decides itself; I mean, it is what it is. Especially because this is a four-band bill, we’ll play for 90 minutes, and Mötley will play for 90 minutes. Poison will probably play for 60 minutes, and Joan Jett will probably play for 40-45.”
