They raised their popularity, especially with the release of their second and third albums.
Avenged Sevenfold’s latest and seventh studio album, ‘The Stage,’ dropped on October 28, 2016, and was designed as a concept album revolving around the theme of artificial intelligence. The album attracted attention with its brilliant composition and powerful sounds. It occupies a special place in the band’s catalog for being their first concept album.
During his new interview, when M. Shadows was asked about his favorite Avenged Sevenfold album, he revealed that their latest album, ‘The Stage,’ is his favorite record. The singer expressed that they didn’t care about what the industry or the fans demanded from them, and they wanted to try something new. He is delighted they did that concept album, which was initially divisive but now accepted.
When asked about his favorite Avenged Sevenfold album, M. Shadows replied:
“That’s my favorite record of ours. We were in a moment in time, and things were changing. I’m so happy we did it that way; we don’t give a f*ck about industry metrics.”
