Korn’s Brian Welch posted a photograph on his official Instagram page regarding the recent tragic incident amid their USA tour. The guitarist showed a bullet track on their tour bus that revealed the gravity of what they had to go through.
During the pandemic, one of the most successful nu-metal bands, Korn, had difficult conditions because of lockdowns and members’ diagnoses like many other artists. They had to postpone some concerts because of this situation. However, they noted that they used these lockdowns to create new songs.
Korn released their fourteenth studio album, ‘Requiem’ on February 4, 2022. They announced a North American tour for the promotion of the album. Korn also added that Chevelle and Code Orange would be with them on tour. They hit the road on March 4, 2022, and will end the tour on April 1, 2022.
The band recently experienced one of the most horrifying incidents after one of Korn’s tour buses was shot in Iowa. However, accuracy was not sure until the present because the band members did not initially confirm it. It became definite with Brian Welch’s recent Instagram post.
In the photograph the musician shared, there was a bullet track on their bus. Welch mentioned that their tour bus was shot in the middle of the night a few days ago. He indicated that the bullet did not go inside and harm anybody. Welch also added he hoped nothing like this would happen in the next city, Des Moines.
The caption of Welch’s IG post follows:
“A couple of days ago in Iowa, we received a bullet to one of our buses in the middle of the night, nobody on the bus, thank God, and the bullet didn’t penetrate the interior of the bus. Well, we’re back in Iowa and hoping for a better welcome tonight, Des Moines! How about bringing some Saturday night energy to a Monday night concert for your boys?”
