Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away suddenly earlier this week at 50 years old. Now according to reports from CNN and NBC, the Colombian Attorney General's Office has released a preliminary urine toxicology test that shows "10 substances were found [in Hawkins], including THC, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids." This of course does not point to any specific cause of death and no assumptions should be made at this time, as no official cause of death has been announced.

"The National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues the medical studies to achieve total clarification of the events that led to the death of Taylor Hawkins," said the AG's office.

As always, our thoughts are with Hawkins' friends and family at this time.

"The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins," said Foo Fighters in a statement at the time of Hawkins' death. "His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time."

Hawkins impressive résumé over the years included drumming for Foo Fighters from 1997 to present day, as well as forming his own bands like Taylor Hawkins And The Coattail Riders and NHC featuring Jane's Addiction members Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney. Hawkins also drummed on Coheed & Cambria's 2006 album Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two, and his own solo EP Kota in 2016.

Hawkins was 50 years old.
