It was revealed on March 25th that Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has died at the age of 50. The band was on tour in South America and was due to perform in Bogota, Colombia on Friday. Hawkins' cause of death has not been revealed.
The band released the following statement:
“The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”
Hawkins played his final show at Lollapalooza Argentina 2022, which took place at Hipódromo de San Isidro in San Isidro, Argentina on March 20th. Check out the entire 2+ hour performance, which includes Hawkins singing the Queen classic "Somebody To Love".
