Conservative rock musician Kid Rock recently joined Tucker Carlson Tonight for an interview during which he revealed why he thinks he cannot be canceled. According to the musician, people can’t cancel him because he doesn’t get involved with big corporate matters.
Like his close friend Ted Nugent, Kid Rock is known for his outspokenness and controversial views. The musician mainly makes the headlines with his opinions on various topics such as hunting, coronavirus pandemic, and politicians. Moreover, he is fearless when voicing his opinions, even in songs.
Currently, the musician is promoting his new record titled ‘Bad Reputation.’ In this album, there is a song titled ‘We The People,’ and it features a chorus of ‘Let’s go, Brandon,’ which is a conservative code for ‘F*ck Joe Biden.’
Moreover, in his ‘We The People,’ Kid Rock also touches upon the coronavirus restrictions, mask mandates, and slams mainstream media, TMZ, Twitter, and Facebook. Due to his controversial views, he has many opposers waiting to cancel him after his debatable opinions.
In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson Tonight, Kid Rock revealed that he thinks he is uncancellable for his views. According to the musician, this is because he is ‘not in bed with any big corporate things,’ and he is not beholden to any of them.
During the conversation, Tucker Carlson asked Kid Rock the following:
“Why haven’t you been canceled? Like, people aren’t allowed to say what they think. You are.”
Kid Rock then said:
“I’m uncancellable.“
Carlson questioned:
“Why is that?”
As a response, Kid Rock said:
“Because I don’t give a f*ck. I’m not in bed with any big corporate things. At the end of the day, there’s nobody I’m beholden to no record companies, no corporate interests, no nothing. You can’t cancel me. I love it when they try.”
