Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne‘s wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, will release a new memoir that will address some details about her tumultuous marriage with the Prince of Darkness.

Sharon Osbourne met Ozzy Osbourne when she was just 18 years old. At the time, she was working for her father, Don Arden, who was managing Black Sabbath. In 1979, Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath, and that’s when Sharon’s relationship with the singer started.

She began to have more significant roles in Ozzy Osbourne’s life when Sharon Osbourne took over Ozzy’s management as a solo artist after they started dating. They then got married on July 4, 1982. However, their marriage was not a bed of roses due to Ozzy’s alcohol and drug abuse, violent manner, and infidelities.

Both Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne had disputes and fights regularly during their marriage. It is known that Ozzy beat Sharon Osbourne in the past, and he even had knocked out her front teeth. The most horrific incident happened in August 1989, when Ozzy was arrested for attempted murder after she tried to strangle Sharon while he was under the influence.

Up until now, Sharon Osbourne has released three autobiographical books and two novels. In her first autobiography named ‘Extreme,’ she touched upon her problematic marriage with Ozzy and documented the aspects of domestic violence and substance abuse affecting their relationship.

Following that book, Sharon Osbourne also released two other autobiographies titled ‘Survivor’ and ‘Unbreakable.’ As it turns out, Sharon is now getting ready to release another memoir titled ‘Coming Home.’

According to the promotional material for the book, ‘Coming Home’ will detail the pair’s broken marriage, Ozzy’s unfaithfulness, his substance abuse, losing friends and being betrayed, and Sharon’s struggles with mental health crises. The book will be released in November and break down unknown facts about the rock’s famous couple.
