Death metal icons Deicide have just announced a headlining North American tour where they'll perform their classic second album, Legion, in full. Kataklysm will provide direct support, playing all of Serenity in Fire alongside openers Inhuman Condition.
The run, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of Deicide's historic 1992 record, kicks off on August 11 in Louisiana and will continue for a full month with an end date of Sept. 10 in Deicide's home town of Tampa Bay, Florida.
Joining the 29-date trek are Canada's Kataklysm, whose fan-favorite 2004 album yielded enduring, devastating tracks such as "As I Slither" and "Ambassador of Pain."
For newly announced Deicide guitarist Taylor Nordberg, it's going to be an especially busy tour as he'll be pulling double duty as both the opener and headliner. Rounding out Inhuman Condition, the death metal unit that formed in Tampa in 2020 and released the Rat God debut last year, are bassist Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Massacre, ex-Six Feet Under, ex-Death) and vocalist/drummer Jeremy Kling (The Absence, Venom Inc., Ex Deo).
