Ultimate Jam Night, the long-running community-oriented music show will pay tribute to Randy Rhoads on March 15 at its long time residency location, The Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California. The Rhoads family will be in attendance with special performance by Randy’s brother Kelle Rhoads.

The star-studded lineup includes performances by Phil Sandoval (Armored Saint), Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Halford, Judas Priest), Ira Black (Bulletboys, Lizzy Borden, Of Gods & Monsters), Toshi Yanagi (Jimmy Kimmel Live), Jeff Young (Megadeth), Johnny Blade (Ozzmania), Miles Schon and Joe Travers (Joe Satriani), Gonzo Sandoval (Armored Saint), Tosha Jones (Saliva), Tim Yeung (Morbid Angel), Fred Aching (Powerflo, Billy Bio), Patrick Stone (Budderside), Gabriel Colon (Culprit), Victor Wichmann (Rock Voice Brazil), Chuck Wright (Alice Cooper, Montrose), Dan McNay (Jack Russells Great White), Michael Spencer (Flotsam & Jetsam), Emily V, Chris Turbis (Mr. Crowley) and will be hosted by Paulie Z.  frontman of Sweet.

Randy Rhoads passed away on March 19, 1982 in an airplane crash in Leesburg, Florida while on tour with Ozzy Osbourne. This year marks the 40th anniversary of his death. Rhoads is regarded as a pivotal figure in metal music, credited as pioneering a fast and technical style of guitar soloing that largely defined the metal scene of the 1980s. Randy was just 25 years old when he died.

Founded in 2015 by bassist Chuck Wright, Ultimate Jam Night is a live unrehearsed performance of familiar songs by some of music’s greatest talent. Now in it’s 6th year of residency, the show is currently presented every other week at The Whisky A Go Go.
