Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson recently released her new song entitled ‘Missionary Man,’ following the first single, ‘Greed.’ The new track will be a part of her upcoming solo album named ‘Fierce Bliss.’
As an active member of Heart since the early 1970s, Ann Wilson recorded various hit albums and achieved massive success with the band over the years. She rose to fame as Heart’s lead singer and songwriter, but she also stepped into a solo career in 2007. Her debut solo album named ‘Hope & Glory’ was released on September 11, 2007.
Her first album also featured some guest appearances like Elton John, Alison Krauss, Gretchen Wilson, and Wynonna Judd. It was a cover album including songs from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, and many other artists and bands. Her second solo album, ‘Immortal,’ released in 2018, also didn’t include any original material. All ten tracks in the album were covers from prominent names like David Bowie, Tom Petty, and Chris Cornell.
As Wilson recently announced, her third solo record named ‘Fierce Bliss’ will arrive on April 29, 2022. It will once again include some covers, but it will also feature original material, unlike its predecessors. The first single off the album called ‘Greed’ was released about a month ago. The song’s official music video received more than 50k views since it was first uploaded on her YouTube channel.
The singer currently released a new single called ‘Missionary Man‘ from her upcoming album on YouTube. The song has 17k views, with more than 600 fans liking the video. The album ‘Fierce Bliss’ will also feature some guest performers such as Vince Gill on vocals, Kenny Wayne Shepherd on guitar, and Warren Haynes again on some guitar parts.
