The Dead Daisies are back in studio working on the follow-up to 2021's Holy Ground, expected later this year. The band has been posting updates via social media (see below).
Says the band: "After a dramatic period of time since the recording of the ‘Holy Ground’ album which limited the amount of time spent touring the record, the band are finally back in the studio preparing to record the next album. With the return of Brian Tichy on the drum stool, it is sure to be a hard hitting, big sounding piece of work. We can’t wait to hear it, you know it’s going to ROCK!
The Dead Daisies recently released the new digital single and music video, "Bustle And Flow" (Live From Daisyland).
A message from the band states: "Our second single from the Live From Daisyland collection is now available to listen on all streaming platforms along with the accompanying video shot on tour last year. ‘"Bustle And Flow' was recorded in November last year at the famous Nottingham Rock City venue on the UK tour. This live version of the track is injected with both the raw power and soul of Glenn’s commanding and soaring vocals, the attacking riffs of Doug and David and the heavy-hitting drums of Tommy. Captured at the height of the tour, this live version of the song is a great demonstration of how powerful the band are live on stage."
“Always great to play this song live. We had a blast on the UK tour last year and this song totally rocked the crowd. Nothing like an energetic audience to inspire us to deliver a full-on dose of ROCK.” - Doug Aldrich
