ICED EARTH's JON SCHAFFER Continues To Cooperate With Government In Regards To US Capitol Riot Charges

Iced Earth guitarist, Jon Schaffer, continues to cooperate with the government in regards to his involvement in the US Capitol riot events on January 6, 2021.

According to a post shared by journalist Zoe Tillman, a Joint Status Report filed by attorney Matthew M. Graves states that, "The government reports that Defendant Jon Schaffer continues to cooperate with the government. We request the opportunity to file a further status report my May 20, 2022. We have consulted with counsel for the defendant, who concurs in this request."

Jon Schaffer, the Indiana heavy metal guitarist with Oath Keeper ties who was the first person to plead guilty in the Jan. 6 prosecutions (obstructing an official proceeding + carrying bear spray into the Capitol), is still cooperating, per status report filed this morning pic.twitter.com/Vqoc9bUNZT
